We have currently received our agreement of Phase A from THETA (www.theta.org.za) and are now in the process of achieving our Phase B total accreditation.
We are working on our accreditation in three different skills programmes:
This means that all our programmes are outcomes based, and Unit Standard aligned, practically developed and inline with the Skills Development Act and the SAQA act. (www.saqa.org.za).
Because we are accredited your company will be able to use our training toward achieving your Work Place Skills Plans figures. This gives you the opportunity to claim your Skill Development Levies back without a problem from your SETA.
Barcode Bar Academy will help with Workplace Skills Plans and other documentation as required.
On completion of our programmes our learners are deemed competent by our accredited assessors, their competence results will be registered onto the National Skills Data base, giving all potential employers and other SETA’s access to the performance results.
The learners will receive credits on the National Qualifications Framework towards Certificates, Diploma’s or Degree’s in hospitality. Therefore if the learner requires any further development with other registered institutions they will keep the current credits earned and be able to just progress in their careers.
